KELIN And Partners Host The 2nd Ajs Conference Ajs As Culture And InnovationIn Accelerating Social Transformation Through Access To Justice

KELIN and partners, led by the National Steering Committee on the implementation of Alternative Justice System (NaSCI AJS), host the 2nd Annual AJS Conference from 26th to 28th June 2023 focusing on AJS as a culture and innovation in advancing social transformation through access to justice. As a subsequent Conference to the first one that was held in May 2022, this conference attracts experts and practitioners comprised of sector stakeholders, policymakers, and academia who shall crosspollinate and share knowledge and experiences to promote animation of AJS policy.

The conference will look at the nexus between justice and cultural practices impacting access to justice for most of the justice seekers in Kenya, and sustainable alternative justice mechanism’s initiatives/ indigenous knowledge/strategies exist in building justice communities. The conference will also look at opportunities to accelerate and expand access to justice in Kenya.
