KELIN And Partners Host The 2nd National Research Conference Themed: Responding To Climate Change Through Land Governance In The Region

KELIN, National Land Commission, the National Research Fund (NRF), National Bank, Food and Agriculture Organization, European Union, and the University of Nairobi partner to host the 2nd National Research Conference on the 24th and 25th of May 2023 focusing on responding to climate change through land governance. The first National Research Conference took place in November 2021. This conference will feature notable scholars in the disciplines of land governance and climate change to share findings from completed research and expert knowledge to a larger audience comprised of sector stakeholders, policymakers, and academia.

This conference aims to collect, synthesize, and share knowledge about land governance and climate change, adaptation, mitigation, financing, capacity building, and technology with relevant stakeholders; to assess the efforts made by relevant actors to mainstream climate change into land governance and sustainable management; and to identify opportunities and challenges in climate change mainstreaming in land governance in the region.
