KELIN to host a knowledge sharing forum on good practices and lessons learnt with regards to HIV, Human Rights & Governance

In the past three years, KELIN (with financial support from CommonWealth) has been implementing a project geared towards enhancing protection of PLHIV rights through participatory governance. The Project was aimed at equipping communities particularly PLHIV with information on the link between HIV, human rights and the legislative process. It also sought to increase the participation of PLHIV and communities in the legislative process to ensure policies and laws with discriminatory provisions are amended.

It is against this backdrop that KELIN has organized a one day knowledge sharing forum on good practices and lessons learnt with regards to HIV, Human Rights & Governance for participants from Bungoma, Kakamega, Homa Bay, Kisumu, Mombasa and Kilifi Counties.

The forum will be held on Friday 13 May, 2016 at Hotel Rio, Nairobi West from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
