What: The Constitutional and Human Rights Division of the High Court in Nairobi will mention Petitions 605 and 606 of 2014; the cases challenge the forced and coerced tubal ligation of women living with HIV.

The mention on 4th November 2020 is to confirm the willingness of the Judge who had initially heard the matter to hear it to the conclusion in light of his upcoming transfer back to Nairobi.

Where: Online before Hon. Justice W. Korir at 9:30 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE: The applicants request that their names and identity should not be disclosed in the media to protect them from further stigma and discrimination based on their HIV status. The proceedings shall be in camera.
